Welcome to Banksville Nursery School
Banksville Nursery School, formerly known as Stanwich Congregational Church Nursery School, has been nurturing children from Greeniwch, Stamford, and Bedford since 1969. The school is licensed by the State of Connecticut and is non profit and non denominational. The program welcomes all children.
Mission
To provide an outstanding education for children while helping them transition from home to school. To teach children the skills that will help them become kind, independent, and perseverant individuals who will develop a lasting love for school and learning.
Philosophy
The Banksville Nursery School program provides a warm, loving, safe place for children to play purposefully under our expert guidance and support. Teachers focus on play and exploration, offering a variety of engaging opportunities that will enable children to acquire a broader understanding of the world.
